Good Morning Beauties,
I am sure no doubt you have had your God moments and this morning was one of them for me. I had been praying and asking God about somethings that have been heavy on my heart recently and well, God is faithful to answer. I got my coffee, sat down at my usual place and opened my bible and go and behold it lands on 1 Samuel 1:28
"So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord."
I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord." And he worshiped the Lord there. 1 Samuel 1:27-28 (NIV)
It was a reminder to me when I dedicated my daughter to the Lord when she was a baby.
Hannah had prayed for a son and when the Lord granted her request she dedicated him to the lord.
I was sensing God was saying, do you remember when you dedicated your daughter to me and you entrusted her to me.
It's easy to forget with everyday life demands, trials and tribulations we go through, but GOD doesn't forget, He is so gentle to remind us and that He keeps his promises, not on our timetable but His.
And maybe you don't struggle with this area of your life, but maybe its your job or lack of, your marriage, your future but, whatever that is we need to give it to God however many times we need to do this. He does a better job anyway and He is the only that can change hearts, heal, restore, provide and open doors.
I am reminded that God has been so so good and that He is faithful.
His promises are YES AND AMEN!
REFLECTION: Just between you and God
1. What one thing are you holding back from God?
2. What would happen if you released it to God?
I know for me I had more than a few of these things I kept taking back as if I can actually change the situation, but I am reminded that God is bigger.
So this morning, lets surrender loved ones, our future, our marriages, finances and whatever your facing, surrender it back to God and trust Him with outcome.
God is FAITHFUL!
Blessings, Isabel Perez McCoy
