Good Morning Beauties and Gents,
Yesterday, we put up some Christmas lights as a reminder that there is hope and that we are the light of
the world. I asked my husband if He would make a cross as a reminder too, that we look to Jesus, the
Hope of Glory and what He did on the cross for the whole world.
He died, resurrected on the third day conquering death.
Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:4-5
We are in a sobering season, we are all going through trials. We are being shaken, we are being awakened and God is calling us to draw nearer to Him and in prayer now more than ever.
We can use this time to draw closer to Him or continue the way we have been living, A life without God or too busy to make time for God and being distracted by everyday life, which I have been guilty of all three, but thank God for His mercy and redemption.
We can be the light or stay hidden in the darkness. It's a wake up call for the whole world.
Now more than ever, we need to look to Him, Jesus, the Hope of Glory.
We can not put our hope in man or our circumstances changing for us to have peace. We can have peace now.
During this season of downtime for me off from work, resting, and taking care of my health, God has been speaking to me a lot about rest, restoration, resetting my priorities and responding in obedience to His leading in some areas in my life.
He said to me I can give your rest for your body, rest for your soul and when we rest in His presence, He gives us peace in the midst of chaos and He gives us provision. The Key is to seek Him in prayer, rest in His presence and respond.
" Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
John 14:27
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
Prayer;
God may we draw closer to you during this time and trust you that you are with us, for us and you will never leave us nor forsake us. May we put our trust in you, the Hope of Glory. Give us the grace to respond in Yes, Lord! We trust your leadership.
