Good Morning, Beauties and Gents
I wanted to share yesterday's devotional. The lord woke me up at 3:33 am and to me this was a personal confirmation and reminder that He is going to keep His promise to me.
I went to my usual place where I sit every morning in my living room, turned on the Christmas lights to my tree and nativity scene and lit up some candles and lit the fireplace. I so look forward to this every Saturday, especially since its the only time when it is quiet and its just me and my Lord.
I grabbed my bible and it opened up right to this devotional on Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Before I even started reading the presence of God just rested on me and I began to cry and then this Peace, the prince of peace resting on me. All my worries and concerns of the world had lifted, all I could do is just enjoy this overwhelming Peace and knowing that He is in control of everything and everyone.
I felt like the world stood still, it was silent and all I could hear was the crackling of the firewood burning and the Prince of Peace resting on me.
I couldn't help but to worship Him, over and over
"Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty, Heaven and earth proclaim your name, You alone are worthy, Lord God almighty, Heaven and earth proclaim your name."
He is worthy to worshiped no matter how we feel and no matter whats going on in our life or around us, He is worthy.
I can still feel it now even as I am writing this blog. The Lord gives us peace in a world of Chaos, He is waiting for us to meet with Him so that He can give us something better, which is Himself, the greatest gift and His Peace.
He is our Wonderful counselor, A Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.
My prayer is this, that we receive the greatest gift this Christmas, our heavenly father has given us and that is His son Jesus Christ.
He will come again to judge the earth and come for a spotless bride.
