Don’t compare yourself to other women.

This is a huge one for women. Some women admire things about other women and appreciate other’s gifts and talents, but then there’s times when we covet, get jealous or compare which is a trap to spiral down into depression. How do I know that? because I’ve gone down this road before.
I would compare myself to other women I admired and wish I had their gifts. Until the Lord started pointing out this struggle in my life. He said to me I want you to celebrate other women’s gifts, victories, blessings and skills and be content with the gifts I have given you. I have created you different and unique with certain gifts use what I have given you. If I created you all the same how would you help one another.
In 2nd Corinthians 10:12 (ESV)
It says not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves with one another, they are without understanding;
When I think about this scripture where it says, They are without understanding, it really hits the heart. I for one don’t want to be without understanding. I want to walk in Gods wisdom, love and appreciate other women, celebrate women and gain understanding by asking for help from women who’s strengths are my weaknesses.
God has given each one of us an assignment to fulfill on this earth, and not covet or be jealous of others assignment but to love one another, celebrate and help one another.
Let us be one who walks in love, wisdom and confident of who God created us to be and do. To be content and grateful for the gifts and skills we have and the assignment God has given us to do on this earth. Thank you, God that you created all women different so that we can help one another.
