Hello Beauties,
I can’t believe it is August already, where has the time gone? A couple of weeks ago I was in the Ozark mountains with my daughter. A mother and daughter road trip. So needed this to be able to spend some quality time with one another. When your home everything calls your name. Sometimes you just need to get away from everyday life demands away from home to really rest, seek God and spend quality time with loved ones. We were both needing to get away and well, we had the time to be able to do it.
We got to work on our mother and daughter journal my daughter got for us a year ago, which inspired both of us to start writing our own mother and daughter journal and publish in the near future. We visited a few places and one of them being, Christ of the Ozarks, what an amazing statue. Since the last time I was there they added this beautiful cross and some benches to sit and reflect on the cross, I wish I could have spent more time there journaling. A must go back to place. There was also a prayer box in front of the entrance, which I couldn’t resist, but to fill out a prayer request form and leave it in the box for whomever prays for them.
We also visited this beautiful Catholic church. The architecture was beautiful inside and out, but I think I enjoyed the landscape the best, the beautiful flowers and the small statues displaying the stories in the bible of Jesus with the disciples. The grounds had beautiful flowers and butterflies everywhere, you couldn’t help but to stop and take pictures.
Both my daughter and I were drawn to it, because of its beauty and truth, I was so blessed to know that we both had more things in common besides writing, journaling and music. We enjoyed capturing Gods Beauty, His beautiful landscape.
It was so peaceful just driving through farmland and appreciating the beautiful town of Eureka Springs Arkansas. I had wished we could have visited a few other places, but weather did not permit us too. Until our next mother and daughter road trip. Looking forward to going back to visit the places we didn’t get to see.
Here are a few pictures my daughter and I took.
