Good afternoon Beauties,
It’s a new month, Spring came and went, and Summer is right around the corner. Spring is that time of the year when I love to host tea parties but because of COVID restrictions I was not able to host a Spring tea party but hopefully I can host one soon.
I am looking forward to June 11th which is Making life Beautiful National day. I love making life beautiful for many women, especially in the season we are in right now. One of the things I really enjoy doing is serving and making women feel special. I enjoy the fellowship. the women getting together being transparent with one another, encouraging one another and praying for one another, if there is any time where it’s needed, it is now.
I love to create a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere for women to enjoy because they are worthy. I love when new friendships are made, and they look forward to getting together again.
I love to bring out all my teacups, tea pots and tea party decorations I have collected and gifts that have been given to me throughout the years.
I try to host a tea party at least once a year, during Spring, Autumn and Christmas time. Last year I hosted three tea parties, One for my Book launch Inner Beauty book. This was a Victorian garden tea party, which I enjoyed so much.
I set up a white canopy outside by my garden with turquoise sheer curtains for each corner and three tables with flowered table covers. Each table had a teapot with flowers as a centerpiece and little teapot shaped gift boxes with tea bags for each guest. For lunch I had it catered by a local tearoom mother and daughter owned. They made chicken salad croissants and cucumber tea sandwiches. For dessert they made pumpkin muffins, raspberry and blueberry scones, yummy. I made Ginger Peach Iced tea and Chardonnay Iced tea which was very refreshing for a warm day. I think this was one of my best tea parties I have hosted.
I also had an Autumn tea party. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, the crisp cool mornings the scent of pumpkin spice and apple pie candles, the yummy pumpkin deserts and the beautiful foliage, with its colors of burgundy, red and golden leaves. I love how the wind blows the leaves, the winds of a new season.
