Good Morning Beauties,
It's 52 degrees here in KC and I love my October weather.
I am sitting here enjoying my cup of pumpkin spice coffee and enjoying the aroma of my pumpkin Souffle’ scented candle curled up in my blankie journaling.
It’s that time of the year when I start making plans to host tea parties for November and December.
With everything that’s been going on and some restrictions still intact it can put a hamper on your mood if you let it. All we can do is continue to pray and continue doing what God has called us individually, and as the body of Christ to do to make it a better place.
I believe that’s why God has put in my heart to host a live tea party once a month featuring one person to share about all the beautiful things they are doing in their homes, family, workplace, ministry and other things they do that go un-noticed.
I remember sitting one morning complaining about all the negative news on media, some social media, and well, it can make you depressed and discouraged if that’s all you keep watching.
It’s good to stay updated but not let it affect you. Scripture says to set our minds on things above and not on earthly things. (Colossians 3:2 NIV)
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things. Philippians 4:8
That evening I felt prompted to focus on people that are doing excellent and praiseworthy things on the earth and in secret. I fell asleep thinking about what was this going to look like? The next morning, I opened up my devotional and my spirit leaped, because this is what it said.
“IF ANYTHING IS EXCELLENT OR PRAISEWORTHY, think about such things. People who work in the media almost always shine their spotlights on what is wrong. They rarely bother to report good things that are happening especially the many good things My people are doing.”

I knew God was calling me to step out of my comfort zone and host a live tea party and interview the women He was highlighting to me.
I love creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere for women to bless and serve them, but now God is stretching me and calling me to promote women that are hidden and not in the spotlight. To spotlight their Inner Beauty, their giftings, and all the Beautiful things they are doing that may seem unimportant to them, but to God everything we do is important. Everything we do is worship unto God.
I want to encourage you this morning, if you feel unnoticed or unimportant, God see’s you! He hears you! He notices you! YOU are important to Him. You shine bright in Gods kingdom.
Some of us may never reach fame or the spotlight here on earth, but our name is famous to God and in the heavens. God knows who you are. The most important thing we can do on this earth is to know God, make Him known and know that we are known by Him.
