Good Morning Beauties and Gents, Happy New year and welcome snow.
It’s our first snow storm for the new year here in KC and I sure do welcome it.
Especially these beautiful cardinals that come in bunches to feed from the bird-feeder.
This picture does not give it justice, but I had to take pictures from inside, because they are so skittish, and any kind of movement they take off flying.
This was a treat for me since I love cardinals, especially when they come with their mate and the male cardinal feeds the female cardinal beak to beak. It Doesn’t happen often, but when it does it’s a delight to see.
Although I don’t like the bitter cold temps and too much snow, getting snow this time around just changed the atmosphere for the good and seeing these beautiful creatures God created for us to enjoy.
It reminded me that Abba Father God cares about the little things we care about that bring us joy. We have all gone through many trials, loss and changes this past year, but we have also experienced Gods blessings, abundant peace and provision too.
I can’t complain, because He has been good to us even in the midst of trials.
I am thankful for good and the bad, because in every season that we go through, Jesus is right there to uphold us and the opportunity to see His faithfulness if we draw near to Him. We can do it alone, or we can cling on to Him for His strength, His infinite wisdom and receive His Peace that surpasses all understanding. Jesus remains faithful, people change, circumstances change, but He never changes, He remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” Hebrews 13:9
If Abba Father cares about the little things we care about, then we shouldn’t feel like they are insignificant to Him, He loves us, He knows us and He cares about what we care about and about what is dear to our hearts.
“Casting all your cares, all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares about you with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully.
