Good Morning Beauties,
It's nice to be back home, I was in Philadelphia, Pa last weekend and had a wonderful time. I fell in love with the city and the people. I thank God for the opportunity to be among some amazing great Men and Women of God to pray with for our nation.
I am not a city person, but I really loved this city. It has rich history and I plan on going back to visit again to really take in the history and enjoy some foreign food.
This trip really did challenge me to step out of my comfort zone. I was going to a new city, a new place I have never been too and by myself, and being around great Men and Women I have never met, it was beyond my expectations and I am so grateful for my friend Sandi inviting me and pushing me to press through some trials I was facing at the time.
When I was there I felt right at home, like I belonged there. Amazing.
Do you ever feel like you don't fit in or you feel intimidated around some people.
Well, this is how I thought I would feel, but I felt right at home.
I knew God wanted me to step out out of my borders to a new place, an unfamiliar place, a place I had never been too. He was definitely stretching me in every way in this trip.
God gave me this scripture this year,
Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; which is what I wanted to do because it was unfamiliar.
lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes, For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. Isaiah 54:2-4
How many of us have allowed fear to keep us doing what God wants us to do?
I know I have been guilty of this in the past, fear of what it's going to be like? what if this happens? what am I going to say? So many if's and questions.
But, God is faithful to go before us and give us peace and let us know He is with us where ever we go and whatever He is calling us to do.
I am so happy I stepped out in Faith, stepped out of my comfort zone and put my trust in Him for the outcome.
What is God calling you to do that requires faith and is challenging you to step out of your comfort zone.
Be encouraged that God will never leave you and you will not be humiliated.
Blessings my friends.
