Good morning Beauties, Happy Fall morning, its 51 degrees and raining here in KC. It’s one of my favorite seasons. It’s that time of year when I start bringing out my fall decorations and planning tea parties. I love to decorate the dining room with fall colors of bright oranges, red burgundy and yellows. I’ll bring out my tea cart trolley my daughter had given me a few years back. It’s an Italian 1950 Hollywood Marquetry engraved flower designed where I can display my tea set.
But more than the beautiful decorations, I enjoy that women can get together and fellowship and enjoy each other’s company.
I think women should get together more often to be able to encourage and pray for one another, to laugh, to cry and be transparent with one another. In fact, God encourages us to do so.
Therefore, as Gods chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothed yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Colossians 3:12-14, NIV
I also enjoy having tea with jut one friend; it’s more intimate. I know many of us have busy lives with kids and jobs, but it would be nice to get together with a friend or friends once a month.
Maybe you already do this with one of your friends or several friends, but for those that don’t, I encourage you to do this. Have a cup of tea, open up, encourage one another, pray for one another for this can be the greatest source of love, healing and joy.
Here are some ways to enjoy Tea.
Enjoy a cup of tea in the morning or afternoon while reading your favorite book, bible or devotional.
This is my favorite, Host a tea party and share a spot of tea with friends.
